Overview

The Antro del Corchia is a vast system of caves of karst origin, which develops inside Monte Corchia (Apuan Alps, Tuscany).

The system includes three large caves connected to each other: the Abyss Claude Fighiera, the Abyss Rodolfo Farolfi and the Antro del Corchia. With a depth of 1,210m, over 20 entrances located along the entire mountain and an extension of more than 80 km, it is one of the largest and deepest in Italy.
